tripcake helps you and your friends to easily plan and book your next trip.
Why do I need that?
To relax. With tripcake you get rid of everything you hated about trip planning: endless facebook chats, confusing Whats-App messages or infinite E-Mail responses.
How does it work?
Create a travel poll and simply enter your preferences for budget, destinations and time to travel. Afterwards, invite your friends to do the same. You will get an perfect overview of what everybody wants to do. You can also chat with your friends on the website.
Do I have to create an account?
No. We want it to make as easy as possible for you to travel with your friends. Thats why you don’t need to register or sign up.
How to invite somebody?
Just send the link of your travel poll to your friends – you can do that via Mail or share it on social networks. That’s it.
Is there a tripcake mobile app?
For mobile devices tripcake will soon be available on tripcake.com. Up to now our app is not released but we are working on it!
Is tripcake only for longer trips or also for short excursions?
For everything! Even if you are just planning a day trip, tripcake can help you with the organisation. You will be able to book activities and restaurants in the near future.
If we have planned our journey on tripcake, do I have to book it via tripcake?
No, of course not. But it’s much easier for you to browse and compare travel offers that we searched for you on the web. By not searching on douzens of travel websites you can save a lot of time and money. And of course we will be happier if you book with us.
What kind of offers will I get on tripcake?
We are searching the web for matching accomodations and activities. You can choose from more than 400.000 hotels and 30.000 vacation homes.
Is it possible to book flights via tripcake?
Actually not, but we are working on that.
How does the payment works?
If you want to book and pay, you will be forwarded to our partners website (Expedia). They accept the most common credit cards and usually also debit cards and money transfer.
Why am I forwarded to another website when I want to book something?
All accomodations you can find on tripcake are provided by our partner „expedia.com“. Every tripcake booking will be executed on their subpage travelnow.com. It’s totally safe.
Do I pay more on tripcake than on other websites?
No! You pay exactly the same price as if you would book via the hotels website or any other website.
How much do I have to pay for the tripcake service?
Nothing! tripcake is totally free for all user.
